The Prototype Festival was founded in 2014 as an event to connect the worlds of art, science and technology. By bringing together seemingly separate and distant fields, a cultural event for a wide range of visitors is created every October. Over the past years, the festival has evolved into a traditional Brno autumn event.

Prototype is a creative, educational and organizational platform that aims to closely connect the spheres of art, science and technology and to create a space for their unconventional presentation.

Cooperation with other institutions, universities and the commercial sphere brings to Brno new creative talents, creating a platform for cooperation and creation, whose results resonate in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The festival is located in the breathtaking space of old massive water tanks under the hill in the centre of Brno and also in park of its area.
