Now a firm fixture on the London arts scene and free to the public, the Winter Lights festival draws upon state-of-the-art light technology to deliver spectacular artworks, installations and experiences to Canary Wharf, many of them interactive or responsive. The festival features never-before-seen pieces and several UK firsts and international projects.
In response to themes of sustainability, many of the pieces displayed have been crafted using sustainable materials and climate change, as the fifth iteration of the festival dazzled, enchanted and amazed over 500,000 visitors over 12 days in January.
